Head is better known for its racquets, but it still makes a small range of indoor squash shoes, and the Sprint Pro 4.0 Indoor is its performance model. Head describes it as a fast mover's shoe, built to be lightweight and flexible for quick changes of direction, with a performance fit that hugs the foot and leaves little movement inside the shoe.

Head does not publish a weight, heel drop or cushioning name, so we cannot compare it directly with the Salming or Babolat figures. UK retailer PDH Sports describes an enhanced EVA midsole, a reinforced breathable mesh upper and Delta Strap technology, a dual-band support on both sides of the upper to hold the foot in place. Head's own page confirms the non-marking rubber outsole, which is what squash clubs require, and Head's UK site lists it in UK sizes 3.5 to 13.

The caution is evidence. We found no independent squash review that tests its grip or toe-drag durability, and Head does not say whether the toe area is protected, so heavy toe-draggers should check the toe by eye before buying. If you like a snug, low-bulk shoe and are used to Head's fit, it is worth trying on; otherwise the Salming Viper Pro has the better track record for speed.
