Samsung sells two flagship-style OLEDs in the UK and Ireland, and the S95H is the cheaper of the two. It is not the model Americans call the S95H: that one is sold here as the S99H. What Hi-Fi compared both side by side and called the UK S95H a very good TV and probably the second-best Samsung of the year, though not in the same league as the S99H for brightness and vibrancy.

Euronics Ireland lists the 65-inch (QE65S95HFTXXU) with four HDMI inputs all rated for 4K at 165Hz, eARC, a 70W 4.2.2-channel Dolby Atmos system and the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor. The refresh rate is 100Hz native with 165Hz VRR for gaming. HDR support is HDR10+ only, so Dolby Vision content from Netflix and Disney+ falls back to standard HDR10. The Glare Free finish suits living rooms with windows, and John Lewis describes the 65-inch design as Infinity One with a separate One Connect Box, which keeps the panel very slim.

The trade-offs are the same as for most thin OLEDs: modest bass, and no Dolby Vision. If you watch mostly in daylight and want the most vivid picture, spend more on the S99H; if you want a Samsung with a good anti-glare screen for less, this is the one to look at. Euronics showed the 65-inch as out of stock when we checked, so confirm availability first.
