a2zcheck is free to use. We pay for the site by earning a commission from some retailers when you click a "Check price" button and then buy something. This costs you nothing extra: the price is the same as going to the retailer directly.
Affiliate programmes we use
We are (or are applying to become) members of affiliate programmes including Amazon Associates (in each country where we link to Amazon) and networks such as Awin, CJ, Rakuten, Impact and others. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
How retailers are ordered
All retailer buttons are the same size and style. On each page, retailers are listed in order of the commission they typically pay us for that type of product in your country, with the highest first. This ordering only affects the buttons. It never changes which products we include, how we rank them, or what we say about them.
How links are labelled
Shop buttons are labelled "Ad 路 affiliate links", and every comparison page starts with a short notice that we may earn a commission. The buttons send you to a shop in the country you choose; that shop sets the price, the currency and the delivery terms.
Our independence
- No brand or retailer can pay to be included or to change a verdict.
- Products are chosen and described on their merits, using the method on our how we compare page.
- Links to retailers are marked as sponsored for search engines, in line with Google's guidelines.
This disclosure is made in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), the Consumer Protection Act 2007 (Ireland), the CCPC's guidance, the UK CMA and ASA rules on online advertising, and the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive as amended by the Omnibus Directive (EU) 2019/2161, including national rules such as Germany's requirement to label advertising.
