The Tsuyosa is Citizen's answer to the integrated-bracelet trend, and it is the most affordable way into this list. Citizen's European page describes an automatic Caliber 8210 with 21 jewels, a quoted accuracy of plus or minus 20 seconds a day and a 40-hour power reserve.

The case is stainless steel, 40 mm in diameter, with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal over a green dial with stroke indexes and a date window at 3 o'clock. The steel bracelet is integrated into the case and measures 200 mm in length. The listed weight is 138 g, so it has a reassuring heft without being heavy.

Where it gives ground is in the detail. Water resistance is 5 bar (about 50 m), which suits showers and rain but is not a watch for regular swimming. The 40-hour power reserve means it is best worn regularly rather than rotated with several others, and the page does not list case thickness, clasp type or warranty terms, so check those with your retailer before buying.

If you want a modern automatic with colour and a sapphire crystal and do not need the longest reserve or the highest water rating, this is the sensible choice.
