XGIMI MoGo 4 Laser (WK03K) review

Updated · Compared in: Mini projectors, Projectors €500-€1000

XGIMI MoGo 4 Laser (WK03K)
Best overall

Best for: A portable laser projector with battery · Upper mid-range

Our verdict: A pocketable triple-laser Google TV projector with a built-in battery and a full HDMI port; sharp and colourful, but not bright for the money.

Full review

The MoGo 4 Laser is the portable end of XGIMI's range, and the first thing to know is that the light source is a triple laser rather than LED. That gives a wider colour gamut, which XGIMI lists as 110% of BT.2020 (with a separate 90% DCI-P3 footnote), and the picture looks richer than that of the LED MoGo models.

Brightness is stated at 550 ISO lumens in the high-power mode, so it is a dim-room machine. The image is 1080p with HDR10, and sharpness holds up at the 60 to 120 inch sizes XGIMI recommends. Google TV with licensed Netflix is built in, so streaming works out of the box.

The built-in 71.28 Wh battery is the big practical gain over cheaper siblings: up to 2.5 hours of video in Eco mode, which covers a film, and up to 6 hours of music. An optional stand extends that, per the maker. Unlike the smaller MoGo models, it has a full-size HDMI port with ARC, so consoles and sticks plug in without adaptors.

Sound from the two 6 W Harman Kardon speakers is clear and loud enough for a small garden. Stated Game Mode input lag is 20 ms or less with auto keystone off, which suits casual play.

The main compromise is value: for the money, brightness and resolution are no higher than some mains-powered rivals.

Spec check note: Price is the XGIMI EU store's promotional price checked in November 2026; list price €799. XGIMI's feature page quotes colour gamut as both 110% BT.2020 and 90% DCI-P3; we avoid relying on either. The 550 ISO lumens figure is a lab figure for the highest-power mode. Release year is not stated on the maker's pages.
