Strathberry Mosaic Bag (Black) review

Full review

The Strathberry Mosaic is a small structured bag from a Scottish brand, and it is the only one in this comparison where the brand states where it is made: handmade in Spain. The page lists 100% calf leather with a soft fibre lining, gold hardware with Strathberry's Music Bar clasp, leather feet and a magnetic closure.

The page we opened gives dimensions of 23 x 18 x 12 cm, and says the bag comes in two sizes without saying which size this is. It weighs 0.635 kg, which is on the heavy side for its size, a result of the solid leather construction. There is one zipped internal pocket.

It can be carried by the top handle or on the detachable 114 cm strap. The strap is 2 cm wide, and Strathberry does not give a strap drop, so it is worth trying on or asking the retailer if you need to know where it will sit.

The bag is compact, suited to a phone, wallet, keys and a few small items rather than a laptop or a daily change of shoes. The brand sells the Mosaic in many colours, and the details may vary slightly by colour and size, so confirm the one you choose.
