Full review
Beko's BM3WT4941IW is a simple, low-priced machine that covers the basics. Beko's UK page and John Lewis agree on the label data: energy class A, 49 kWh per 100 Eco cycles, 49 litres of water per cycle and a spin noise of 75 dB(A), which is noise class B.
Its standout feature is the Quick programme. Beko says it washes a full 9 kg load in 28 minutes, where most quick washes are limited to a couple of kilos. That is handy for sports kits and school uniforms. SteamTherapy refreshes clothes in 17 minutes without a full wash, and IronFast is aimed at reducing creases. There are 15 programmes in all, including duvet, shirts and a 20°C wash.
The trade-offs are noise and connectivity. At 75 dB(A) it is noticeably louder on spin than the class A machines here, and there is no Wi-Fi. Beko gives one year of cover as standard, plus a ten-year parts guarantee if you register within 90 days. It is 546 mm deep, so it fits shallower spaces. Irish retailers list the anthracite BM3WT4941IA version.
