Full review

Victor is one of the biggest names in badminton, and the P9200 series is its long-running stability shoe. The P9200III arrived as an update to the earlier P9200 models, and the P9200IIITD-55 AF is the white and blue 55th Anniversary edition sold by UK retailers including Central Sports.

The upper combines microfibre PU leather with a double mesh layer, which Victor shoes use to balance support and ventilation. Retail listings describe a HyperEVA midsole with Victor's ENERGYMAX material and a dual-density wedge, plus a VSR rubber outsole with a radiating tread that is designed to grip during lateral and vertical movement. The last is U-Shape 2.5, which Victor describes as improved fit and stability for quicker, sharper movement, but no width options are listed.

The main reason to pick it is stability: the P9200 line is built around support rather than outright lightness, so it suits players who rely on a solid base for lunges and quick stops. The trade-off is that no weight is published, and different retailers describe the midsole in slightly different words, so check the label on the box.

At the time we checked, a UK retailer showed it discounted and in stock in only a couple of sizes. If your size is gone, the sister P9200III-55 BX and the P9200TD range share the same family idea.

Spec check note: We could not open a Victor page for this exact model, so the specs come from two retailers and the manufacturer page above only confirms the family technology (ENERGYMAX, double mesh, rubber outsole). Central Sports describes the midsole as 'Power Cushion' while Badminton Corner names HyperEVA with ENERGYMAX; we use the more specific Badminton Corner wording. Victor does not publish a weight.

Specifications checked against: Central Sports UK listing (P9200IIITD-55 AF), Badminton Corner listing (upper, midsole, outsole, last), Victor Canada product page (P9200TDF LI, same ENERGYMAX/U-Shape family)
