Philips' OLED811 brings Ambilight to a compact OLED. LEDs behind the TV cast coloured light onto the wall that follows the picture, which makes a 48-inch screen feel larger and is easier on the eyes in a dark room. On this model it runs along three sides.
The specification is strong for the money. TP Vision, which makes Philips TVs, lists four HDMI 2.1 inputs with up to 165Hz, FreeSync Premium and G-Sync compatibility. It supports both Dolby Vision, including the new Dolby Vision 2, and HDR10+, so it covers more formats than LG or Samsung.
Coolblue's listing gives a 70W speaker system and 17 ms input lag, which is fine for casual gaming though slightly behind LG's best figures.
The smart platform is TitanOS, which has the main apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and YouTube, and works with Alexa, Google Assistant and AirPlay 2, but offers fewer apps than Google TV. The 48-inch went on sale in August 2026. Philips uses the same OLED811 name across the UK and EU.

Spec check note: TP Vision quotes OLED EX and 2,500 nits only for the 55-77 inch sizes, so we do not repeat that figure for the 48-inch. Some early listings said Google TV; TP Vision and retailers confirm TitanOS. Size, weight and VESA come from Coolblue; TP Vision does not state which HDMI port carries eARC.
