ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W 26.5" review

Full review

The PG27AQWP-W is ASUS's fastest OLED, and the numbers show it: a 540 Hz maximum refresh rate and a 0.02 ms GtG response time at 2560 x 1440. It uses a Tandem WOLED panel, a two-layer design that ASUS pairs with a peak HDR brightness of 1,500 cd/m2. The screen is glossy, so colours and contrast look striking in a controlled room, but reflections are more visible in a bright one.

Connectivity is the strongest in this comparison: one DisplayPort 2.1, two HDMI 2.1 (FRL) ports and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. Adaptive sync covers FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync Compatible, and the monitor is certified VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black. ASUS also lists flicker-free and low blue light certification from TUV.

The warranty is a standout: three years, including panel burn-in, which removes much of the worry about OLED longevity. The stand tilts, swivels, pivots and raises by 110 mm. At 26.5 inches and 1440p it is aimed at esports players who value a higher frame rate more than a larger or sharper screen. Anyone chasing sharpness should consider the 4K models on this page instead.
