MSI MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 31.5" review

Full review

The MPG 322UR X24 is MSI's large 4K QD-OLED, and the datasheet lists a 31.5-inch panel at 3840 x 2160, 240 Hz and 0.03 ms GtG. QD-OLED uses quantum dots to produce colour, and MSI quotes 99% DCI-P3 and 97% Adobe RGB coverage. It is certified for VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR 13000 for motion clarity.

Connections are well judged for a desk with several devices. There are two HDMI 2.1 ports that carry 4K at 240 Hz, a DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20) port and a USB-C input with DP Alt mode and 98 W of power delivery, so a laptop can charge over the same cable. Three USB 5Gbps ports act as a hub, and PIP, PBP and KVM are listed. Adaptive sync is G-Sync Compatible and FreeSync Premium Pro.

MSI adds an AI Care sensor and OLED Care features, and the warranty is three years including panel burn-in. The stand adjusts for tilt, swivel, pivot and height, with a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount. At 31.5 inches and 4K the pixel density is lower than a 27-inch 4K screen but text is still sharp, and games look excellent. Running 4K at 240 Hz needs a powerful graphics card.
