Google Pixel 11 Pro review

Full review

Google builds its Pixel phones around camera software and AI editing, and the Pixel 11 Pro continues that approach. The aim is simple point-and-shoot use, whether the scene is a dim restaurant, a moving child or a backlit sunset.

The Pixel 11 Pro packs a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide and a 48MP 5x periscope telephoto into a 6.3-inch body that weighs 204 g, so you get serious zoom without carrying a giant phone. The 42MP front camera is a high-resolution option for selfies and video calls. Google's AI editing tools, such as removing unwanted objects or fixing group shots, are built in.

The new Tensor G6 chip focuses on AI features rather than raw speed, so it is quick in daily use but not the first choice for demanding games. The LTPO OLED screen reaches a claimed 3,600 nits and drops to 1Hz to save battery. Google quotes a typical battery capacity of 4,850 mAh.

Google promises seven years of updates, and Pixels get new Android versions first. If you want a bigger screen and battery, the Pixel 11 Pro XL has the same cameras with a 6.8-inch display.
