Full review
The U7S is Hisense's mainstream Mini LED TV for 2026 and one of the cheapest ways to get a 144Hz Mini LED with both Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Hisense UK lists a 144Hz panel, HDR10+ Adaptive and Dolby Vision IQ, ALLM, VRR at 144Hz and input lag of 7ms or less at 4K 120Hz.
It is important not to confuse it with the U7S Pro. Hisense positions the Pro higher, with a brighter panel, a glare-free screen and a Devialet-tuned 2.1.2 system, while the standard U7S has a Hisense-designed 2.1 speaker system. Hisense UK lists that as 2 x 10W plus a 20W subwoofer with Dolby Atmos.
The Hisense UK page lists all four HDMI inputs as HDMI 2.1, but shows VRR only against HDMI 4, so check port labels when you connect a console. eARC is supported for a soundbar.
At this level the C7L from TCL has a higher claimed brightness on paper and uses Google TV, so compare prices. The U7S makes most sense if you find it well discounted and want both HDR formats on a tight budget.
