Full review
The QN80H is the step-up Neo QLED in Samsung's 2026 range and the brand's most affordable Mini LED with full gaming connections. Samsung's UK page lists a 100Hz native panel with VRR up to 144Hz, and all four HDMI inputs accept 4K at 144Hz from a PC (4K 120Hz with VRR from consoles), plus eARC, ALLM, HGiG and FreeSync Premium Pro.
The Mini LED backlight uses Samsung's Supreme Mini LED Dimming, but Samsung does not publish the number of zones. The NQ4 AI Gen2 processor handles upscaling, and HDR support covers HDR10+ including the Adaptive and Gaming versions. As always with Samsung there is no Dolby Vision, so Dolby Vision streams play as standard HDR10.
Sound is a basic 30W two-channel system with Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Lite; a launch article quoted 40W 2.2-channel, but Samsung's own page says 30W, which we use. A soundbar is a good idea, and Samsung's Q-Symphony lets the TV speakers work with a Samsung bar.
At 75 inches it is one of the more affordable big screens from a major brand, and at 23kg it is light for the size, which makes wall mounting easier.
