The C6KS is a cut-down version of TCL's C6K, launched in 2025 to hit lower prices. The main difference is the panel: the C6K has a 120Hz panel, while the C6KS is 60Hz. For films, TV and streaming that makes little difference, and it means you can get a 65-inch Mini LED for the price of many 55-inch sets.
HDR support covers all four major formats, including Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+, and the Onkyo 2.1 system includes a small subwoofer, which is unusual at this price. TCL's Mini LED backlight should give better contrast than a plain edge-lit LED TV, although at 65 inches the dimming zones are spread more thinly.
The catch is gaming. VRR works only up to 60Hz at 4K and there is no 120Hz mode for PS5 or Xbox Series X, so serious gamers should choose the Hisense E7Q Pro instead. TCL also does not publish the zone count for the 65-inch (the 50-inch has 160 zones).
This is a 2025 model and some retailers may be clearing stock, so it is a buy-while-stocks-last pick.

Spec check note: We could not open TCL UK's own C6KS page, so specs come from UK retailer spec sheets. Currys lists a 60Hz panel; EE lists 'up to 144Hz', which refers to the 1080p Game Accelerator. Retailers give 17 kg (Currys, Mark's) or 17.5 kg (EE) without stand. Currys lists the ports as HDMI 2.1, but the 60Hz panel means there is no 4K 120Hz support.
