Cloud is the budget fragrance that won over a lot of people who would normally spend far more. Ariana Grande's own page lists lavender, pear and bergamot at the top, coconut, praline and vanilla orchid in the heart, and a soft cashmere-wood base.

It smells light, creamy and comforting, a little like a sweet bakery treat lifted by fresh lavender, and is often compared with much more expensive gourmand scents. Because it is a lighter, airy gourmand, you may want to apply a few sprays and carry the travel size to top up.

The brand page does not state the concentration, but retailers label it an Eau de Parfum. It comes in 30, 50 and 100 ml bottles and a 9 ml travel size, and the cloud-shaped bottle makes it a popular gift for teenagers. If she likes it and wants more strength, Cloud Intense is the richer version.

For a gift, 30, 50, 100 ml are the sizes the brand lists, and the same name often covers several versions (Cloud Pink, Cloud Intense), so check the label for the exact one before you buy. Try it on skin first if you can, since scent always smells a little different on each person.
